"Dead Horsing" is a term used to describe when someone rapes a person who is unconscious.  The name "Dead Horse Trauma" describes the aftermath of such an act.  Dead Horse Trauma does not promote, encourage, or glorify rape in any way.  The term is used to explain how our minds are constantly being taken advantage of while we are in a constant lack of consciousness to the happenings around us.  Television and all other forms of media puts us in a sedated state while the powers that be take everything we have.

As far as hometowns go, Eric is from Grinnell, IA, Seth is from Lake View, IA, Joey and Jason grew up in Des Moines, and Jarrod is from Ankeny.  Jason was in the bands Retrograde and Ash Veneer, Jarrod was in Amidst the Shadows and Erebus, and Seth was in Ten Ton Hammer before joining Dead horse Trauma.
